Macajah B. Rasbury was son of John C. Rasbury, probably the son of Reubin Rasbury of Jackson and Paulding Co.s, Georgia. I would appreciate any Rasbury information. Rasbury has just returned from Fort Worth where he was called Sunday to the bedside of his father, M. B. Rasbury, who died at 1:30 o'clock Sunday Morning. M. B. Rasbury was past 89 years of age and was born in Polk Co., Georgia, May 4, 1834. He came to Texas in 1866 and settled in Sulpher Springs, later moving to West Texas. He had lived in Fort Worth since 1892. Surviving him are four children, Mrs. F. G. Heiple, Miss Annie Rasbury and N. A. Rasbury of Fort Worth and R. J. Rasbury of Terrill; two brothers, H. C. and A. J. Rasbury of Temple and Austin, respectively. Twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. The funeral services were held from the Gauze-Wear Funeral home and interment at Greenwood cemetery, Fort Worth.
