Hello, My name is Ray Colbert (William R) and I am following along to see if any info on some of my relatives comes up. The family Colbert has been in Cedartown a long time with two uncles in the Fire Department in past years, my grandfather (William Thomas Colbert was a fireman on the Central of Georgia railroad. So, I keep looking for various family names that branch off such as Ray (Mother's maiden name) Pruitt (maternal grandmother's maiden name), Fields (Paternal grandmother's name). My great uncle George Colbert was in the plumbing business in Cedartown for a very many years and his residence was the old house on Spring Drive, fronted by the Big Spring, just down from the water works.
