    2. I joined this list in hopes of finding info on my ancestor, WILLIAM SCOTT BOLAND's family. He was born in Rockmart, Georgia in 1849 to DANIEL BOLAND and MARY MARTHA STAFFORD who were born in S.C. Would like to know more about them. William lived in this area for much of his life, but I can't seem to find a lot about him during this time. He married SARAH IDA WOZENCRAFT in 1867, and they continued to reside in Polk County many years because the 1880 census has them living there with six of their children. In 1884 they had moved on to Albertville (Marshall) AL and lived there until they moved on to Shawnee, OK where both William and Sarah died. I have a lot of info on this family which I am willing to share, but there is still a lot I would like to know. If anyone is researching this family or is willing to look up info for me, please let me know.

    3. Hello Rosemary - Long time since I heard from you - I have a little bit more information re: the children of James and his 2nd wife. Only the daughter had children and I have a photo of her, and also, Oscar went to Emory and Henry - then contracted T.B., moved to Arizona hoping the move would help, but he died there and never married. The other son, who died in Milledgeville, was prone to fits of depression when he wandered away from home - his father took him out of the institution before Christmas, and then after his death, his sister and his mother had to take out a warrant to have him re-admitted. He died there at a young age. Nothing much else on the Snellings or the Wozencrafts - been working mostly on the York connection - and now have had to remove wives names from both William and Joseph. ;-( We simply cannot find ANY proof of the marriages we had, and in fact, found two of the women married to someone else! This is a true reason to insist on documentation!
