Strickland who married Mary Elizabeth Hines Oct 30 1873 in Carroll County, Ga. In 1880 Pike County, GA district 545 it shows: William W. Strickland, age 32 Mary E., age 48 Julia A. Strickland (should be Hines-she is stepdaughter, 20 Louisa Strickland (Hines-stepdaughter) 18 1900 Williamson, Pike, GA William N. Strickland, age 51 Mary E. Strickland, age 69 Julia A. Hinds, age 40 1910 Holllonville, Pike, GA William W. Strickland, age 62 Mary E. Strickland, age 79 Julia A. Hines, age 50 (known as Aunt Sugar) I have been unable to locate them in 1920 or 1930. I have a letter from a relative that states that Julia (Aunt Sugar) was found dead in Pike County, Ga. If anyone has any information on this line I would appreciate help. Need date of death; burial information; information on Strickland line. Mary E. Hines was widow of William A. Hines, who died in 1864 and is buried at Camp Chase, Columbus, Ohio.
