But after looking at Ancestry.com's Georgia Death Records I have found that not all death certificates for that time period are there in the courthouse. I called the Pike County Health Department this morning and they not have any death records. If you have a death to research that occurred 1919-1956, I have the index for the ones that are in the Probate office. Let me know the deceased and I will look it up for you to see if it is available locally. Otherwise you will have to order through state vital records.
