Pike County Times-Journal Zebulon, Ga., Friday, November 24, 1905 J.P. Seagraves Dies Suddenly James P. Seagraves, of Orchard Hill, dropped dead in his front yard early Monday morning and was buried Tuesday near his home. He was in apparently good health and heart failure is supposedly to have caused his death. The deceased was a one-armed confederate veteran about 60 years of age and a highly respected citizen of this county. He is survived by his wife and several children, besides numerous other relatives to mourn his death.
