Lynn -- That was awesome. Thank you so much for posting that to the list. The name I am really hoping to find someday is Mary "Eliza" Elizabeth (Coggin) Pennington, wife of William Henry Pennington; daughter of John Silas & Sarah (Bowland) Coggin. She died sometime b/t the time the 1850 census was taken in Pike Co., GA and when her father wrote his will in Pike Co. on 17 June 1852. Instinct tells me she is buried at Coggin Cemetery, where her parents are buried, of which there is only a partial transcription available on the Pike Co., GA Gen Web site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~gapike/cem049.htm This transcription is currently not part of the Pike Co., GA Archives. Surnames found at Coggin Cemetery include: Scott, Coggin, Shipp, Jackson, Peugh, Fincher, Nelson -- many of the folks are kin to those buried at Hollonville Cemetery. If someone has additional information on Coggin Cemetery, PLEASE post it to this list so that it can be added to the partial on-line survey.
