Would someone please tell me where to look for other Land Lottery List for Pike Co. Ga. I have been told that Alford Trammel & possibly some Ballard families received land lotteries in the 1830's. Thank you. Karen

Karen, I think the folks who put the 1827 land Lottery lists on the web are working on other years as we speak. I will try to let the Pike list know as soon as I find out. In the meantime, the State of Georgia Archives has a list of Revolutionary War Veterans who were "fortunate drawers" of land for all of the lotteries on their web site: http://www.sos.state.ga.us/archives/oe/rv_summary.htm You might find someone there.
