Nancy C.Gilmore married Jourdan Cauthen about 1838. No record has been found of this marriage. Nancy's parents were Humphrey Jr. Gilmore b. 1790 of Greene Co., Ga. and Martha Jenkins bn abt 1797. At this point I've been unable to resarch Nancy's parents. Her marriage has me stumpted. Jourdan Cauthen bn 1811 in S.C. & died 1894 in Pike County Nancy Gilmore bn. abt 1818 Ga. or Ala.died July 1894 in Pike County. If anyone is researching these families, I'd love to hear from you.
