    3. As you all know by now, Barbara has graciously turned over the Pike County mailing list to me. Several of you have already contacted me and made me feel very welcome. I am excited about being your new "list mom" and hope that, together, we can make many new discoveries about our Pike County roots! There are about 150 members on our GAPIKE-L list, so we are a small, but important community, of Pike researchers. Our members live as far away as California and as close as Zebulon. Many of our members also contribute to the Pike County archives. This is a wonderful resource and you should check it out on a regular basis. <http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ga/pike/> Virginia Crilley has really worked hard to remind researchers to share their information in the Pike archives, and is a member of our list. I will try to keep each of you abreast of Pike County resources on the web as they become available. Because you never know until you ask, I want our list to be an active one. So I would like to have a roll call next weekend (May 17, 18, 19). This will be an opportunity for each of you to introduce yourselves and let everyone know the families you are researching. I want you to feel very comfortable about posting and know that if you need any help, that's what I am here for. I have many Pike County resources and will help you with look-ups as time permits. I will remind you again about the roll call later in the week and get you to help me set some guidelines. In the meantime, be thinking about the families you want to post during the roll call. For now, I would like to send best wishes to all the Mom's on our list - Happy Mother's Day. Lynn Lynn Ballard Cunningham mailto:lcunnin1@bellsouth.net
