    3. Anne, Since William J. Atkinson died in 1920, his death certificate might provide you with the names of his parents. Name: William J. Atkinson Death Date: 24 Sep 1920 County of Death: Jenkins Certificate: 26319-B Lynn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anne Vanderleest" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, April 19, 2006 9:39 PM Subject: [GAPIKE] Jeremiah & Lavinia Atkinson part 1 > > I am new to Pike county mailing list and having trouble getting anything through but the word test so I am sending it in two parts. > Part 1- I am trying to prove that William J Atkinson of Pike/Spalding/Fayette counties, the son of Jeremiah & Lavinia Atkinson of Pike county, is the same William J Atkinson living in Burke & Jenkins county in 1880? to his death in 1920. Jeremiah & Lavenia's children are listed below. I have the complete (as I know it to be complete) Civil War disability pension record from the Georgia Archives I would be willing to share. I hope you can help? > Thank you, > Anne Vanderleest > > > ============================== > Census images 1901, 1891, 1881 and 1871, plus so much more. > Ancestry.com's United Kingdom & Ireland Collection. 3. Lynn, Thank you for responding. I have his death certificate. It shows RB Atkinson as father and mother unknown. The birthplace was Texas. There is a story behind that so that's why I am trying to elimate other possibilites.
