Mr. Head had been afflicted with paralysis for several years past, and while his death was expected at any time, it was a great shock to his family and his many friends. He was a brother of Mrs. R. F. Strickland and Miss Hattie Head of Griffin. The funeral took place Saturday afternoon at High Falls.
