I believe his wife is Fetney Anne H. Coggin. They had 5 children. He died after the Surrender at Appomattox in magazine explosion at Danville, Va. Fetney' sister, Candace, married George's brother, John Davis Gregg. The Gregg brothers were from Marion Co., SC, sons of Joseph & Harriett (James) Gregg.
