    2. I believe his wife is Fetney Anne H. Coggin. They had 5 children. He died after the Surrender at Appomattox in magazine explosion at Danville, Va. Fetney' sister, Candace, married George's brother, John Davis Gregg. The Gregg brothers were from Marion Co., SC, sons of Joseph & Harriett (James) Gregg. The Coggin sisters were born in Pike Co., GA, the daughters of Matthew Coggin & Martha Pryor. Descendants of Fetney Anne H. Coggin 1 Fetney Anne H. Gregg of the County and State aforesaid being of Sound and disposing mind doth make appoint and declare this to be my last will and Testament. At chambers Pike Court of Ordinary 3rd August 1866 before me came on the 3rd day of August 1866 at chambers for the purpose of proven the Last will and testament of George C. Gregg.
