My records indicate that Joseph C. Beckham married twice. The first time to Mary A. C. Beckham and the second in 1859 to Mary A. Shepherd. Does the tombstone at the Methodist Cemetery in Zebulon say Mary A. C. Beckham or simply Mary A. Beckham If the later the grave is probably that of Mary A. Shepherd whom I have listed as a second wife. They researchers I corresponded with on this line thought that Mary A. C. Mann Beckham may have died at the birth of her child Frederick Beckham about 1858. I would like to clarify his up and amend my records if need be. Charles C.
