Is the 1880 Panola Co, TX census the only place where Georgia is listed as a step-daughter? And the enumerator really ginked things up by saying she was born in TX and so were both parents. Especially when we see above that Solomon, Ann, and both sets of grandparents were shown born in GA. And he, like the one in Early County, was born in 1853. In researching my husband's Franklin & associated Burkett lines, there was an instance where (contrary to what everyone else did) someone was born in AL moved to LA with the family and then returned to AL had children & died there. That's the only place I know of. But she could have been born in Texas after they moved from Georgia of course.
