Doris, When I can, I do try to add additional information on the newspaper articles. I did find a Thomas J. Cauthen in the Lamar County cemetery records that died on 24 Dec 1894, and was buried in the Milner Cemetery, but I was unsure, so I did not include it as a note. The record was as follows: Cauthen, Thomas J., b. 12 Sept 1859, d. 24 Dec 1894 Cauthen, Emma Huddleston, b. 30 Nov 1864, d. 27 July 1904 Have you heard of this Thomas?
