    3. This should be your Egbert. 1870 Pike County Census, page 71/72: Greenberry Allen, age 50 Mary Allen, age 37 Egbert Allen, age 15 Frederick Allen, age 14 Green B. Allen, age 12 John Allen, age 10 Martha Allen, age 7 Nancy Allen, age 5 All from Georgia. Greenberry is a farmer, Mary is keeping house, all the sons are listed as farm laborers.     3. My 2Great Grandmother, Mary Ann Allen of Pike County (married to William Riley Jones) was born in 1824. Does anyone know if she was possibly a sister of Greenberry Allen? The ages suggest at least a possibility.
