Does the location of this cemetery sound familiar to anyone? "The familiy cemetery is on the old Horton home place near Williamson. . .The old Horton homeplace is just outside Williamson. . . In 1964 or 1965, I went to see it. An elderly gentleman, Garfield Hutchinson and his wife owned it and had lived there many years. He was a brother or first cousin of Mr. Lee Hutchinson of Senoia and Mr. Otto Hutchinson of Haralson, and looked very much like them. It is a pretty country place with beautiful large trees around it. The family cemetery is on the place, but we did not try to find it. We did visit the cemetery at Bethany Methodist Church a short distance up the road, and found John Yarborough's grave. . .All of the Horton family were members of the Christian Church in Williamson" So, anyone know the whereabouts of the Horton cemetery???? I know they owned land in the 1st District and also the Drivers District, per the land grantees records of Pike Co. I am crossing my fingers!
