Just to let everyone know--the annual banquet for the Historical Society is going to be held April 27th. We are so excited that John Strickland has agreed to let us have it in his family's old store in Concord. Many of you may have seen this historic building in the movie Cold Sassy Tree. Those who wish to will wear period dress, tho this is not a requirement for attendance. We have gotten a re-enactor to agree to come and set up an encampment and entertain us with period music. I think it is going to be a great deal of fun for everyone. Tickets are $20. If anyone out there is interested in attending let me know and I will tell you who to contact for tickets.
