I met with come cousins for lunch today and one of them had the following: >From Will Book E, pages 143-144, Ordinary's Office, Greene Co., Georgia In the name of God Amen. I Josiah Allen of the County of Green and State of Georgia do make and ordain this my last will & testament. First I direct all my just debts to be paid after which my will is that all my Estate both real & personal be equally divided between my wife and children, each having one share. But I hereby devise all such property as shall fall to the share of my daughter Nancy Clifton to my executors hereinafter named as trustees to and for the use and benefit of the said Nancy Clifton and I authorise [sic] and direct said Trustees to hold and manage the same for her sole benefit without being answerable to any other person. In the event of her death....her present indisposition this property which shall fall her is to return and be equally divided amongst my wife and the surviving children. Secondly I direct that my children as they grow up be educated according to the means they possess. Thirdly I appoint my beloved wife Elizabeth Allen Executrix and "Our son" Robert Allen Executor of this my last will & testament.
