The Pike County Journal. Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia: September 1, 1893 Mrs. McLeroy Dead Mrs. Caroline McLeroy died at her home this county Friday afternoon. The deceased was 80 years of age, and for more than half a century had been an active member of the Baptist church. She was the mother of Esquire R.R. McLeroy, so well and favorably known in Middle Georgia. A large circle of friends and relatives including several children will mourn the death of this Christian mother and friend.
