The Pike County Journal Zebulon, Pike Co., Ga., Friday, July 6, 1894 Marriage Mr. Will Wood and Miss Carrie Ridley of Weaver were married last Sunday evening. The marriage was one of those which illustrate the truth of [the] old adage, Love laughs at locksmiths. The groom is the son of Mr. J.R. Wood and is a young man of high moral character, who makes friends wherever he is known. He has a business head and a brave heart. That he will succeed in life, no one who knows him can doubt. The young bride is the daughter of Mr. G.W. Ridley. She is a most amiable young lady and has many friends in Zebulon and elsewhere who congratulate her and wish her much happiness. They are living temporarily at the home of Mr. J.R. Wood. The Journal wished them a long life of prosperity and happiness.
