I am a descendant of James Littleton Manley and have this Bible. I have a brick wall: Daniel Manley b. 1819 In Va. (presumably the father of this James Littleton Manley ) who m. Elizabeth Montgomery 11 Jun 1840 in Pike Co. Ga. I find land transactions made by Daniel thru the mid 1840's, but nothing later. Only know that Elizabeth Manley and James L. 2/12 were listed on the 1850 census as living with David Manley, who we believe is Daniel's brother. ? Is Daniel James Littleton's father? Did Daniel per chance go to Texas in 1849-1850 when some of the other Manley's went to Texas? Also, we have ?'s as to who David, Daniel, etc.'s father was - Abner? Any information will be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Also, ANY suggestions where to look from here. Not on Mortality list.
