    3. Pike County, Journal Zebulon, GA., Friday, November 6, 1891 To Be Married On next Wednesday one of the social events of the season will take place in the marriage of Mr. W.J. Franklin to Miss Mary Will Jones. These young people are well known to our people and number their friends by the hundred. In advance we congratulate them and wish them many years of happiness and prosperity. Also: Pike County, Journal Zebulon, GA., Friday, November 13, 1891 Franklin - Jones At the home of Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Adams, the bride’s sister, Mr. W.J. Franklin and Miss Mary Will Jones were united in marriage on Wednesday afternoon, the ceremony being performed by Rev. S.R. England in a beautiful and impressive manner. A very large crowd of the friends of the contracting parties were present to witness the ceremony and offer congratulations to the happy young couple. Mr. Franklin is one of our most progressive business men and well known for his Christian integrity and genial disposition. The bride is a pretty and charming young lady. She graduated at Millersburg female college a year ago, and only recently returned from a trip abroad where she took course in music and art specially. Mr. Franklin has purchased the Hunt house and lot on Concord street, and having had it conveniently furnished, carries his bride there. We offer our heartiest congratulations.
