The Pike County Journal Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia: November 18, 1892 A Happy Marriage On the afternoon of the 16th inst. at the home of the brides mother, Mrs. M.V. Allen, near this place, Mr. W.P. Brooks and Miss May Allen were united in marriage. After the ceremony, which was performed by Rev. S.R. England, and the congratulations which followed, the happy couple left for Woodbury, where they will reside. The groom is an A1 business man at the latter place and his many qualities have made him numbers of friends. The bride is a granddaughter of Col. John H. Baker, and is a most lovely young lady whose many charms of character have endeared her to all. Many beautiful presents were received.
