The Pike County Journal Zebulon, Pike Co., Ga., Friday, September 21, 1894 The death of Miss Allie Jackson last Sunday evening carried sadness to many hearts. Miss Jackson was well known and had many warm friends and admirers. She had been sick for about three weeks with typhoid fever. Her remains were interred at the family burying ground of her father Mr. J.L. Jackson, near Williamson. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. E.K.
