The Pike County Journal Zebulon, Ga., Friday, January 8, 1892 Mrs. Barrett Dead Mrs. Nannie Barrett, wife of William Barrett who lives a mile or two from town on the Griffin road, died last Sunday morning and was buried here on Monday at the Baptist church. She had been sick only a few days and died with convulsions brought on by a complication of troubles. She was a highly respected woman, possessing many friends who are grieved at her sudden death..
