Funeral services are Wednesday, March 22, at 11 a.m. at Brooks United Methodist Church. Burial in Brooks Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, March 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, Griffin, Ga. Helen's mother, Nora Pearl (Moody) Hardy, was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Moody & Lucy Amy Nixon. Lucy was the sister of Charles Bartow Nixon, my husband's GG Grandfather -- Charles was the father of Otis Florence Nixon, Sr in the paragraph above. Helen's Grandmother, Beulah B. (Coggin) Hardy, (wife of William Hardy) was also kin thru my husband the Coggin line. Beulah's Great-grandparents, John S. Coggin & Sarah Bowland, early settlers of Pike Co., Ga., are my husband's 5X Great-grandparents.
