Ellis, of Spalding county, was stricken with apoplexy, and died on Sunday. Dr. Ellis was one of the oldest citizens of Spalding county, and was wide and favorably known. For fifty years he has been a practicing physician. He was seventy-three years old at the time of his death, and was, for a long number of years, a good and consistent member of the Baptist church.
