    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: JACKSON Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hd.2ADE/840.1 Message Board Post: I have interest, too, in clarifying Jacksons in Pike County. My GGGgrandfather moved there in 1826 from Hancock CO.,GA. He brought his family, or most of them. My gggrandfather was Miles Green Jackson, which is the "connect" I first saw. I believe that the Green family and my Jacksons were inter-related somehow, for my gggrandmother, Sarah Deens, is buried in the Green family Cemetery in Elmore County, AL. That county became the home of both Wingate and Miles Green Jackson in 1850 [+/-]. I have Jackson history back to very early Virginia records! Hope we find that we an help one another.

    3. My GGgrandfather, Fielding Franklin Jackson married Elizabeth Sims on May 14, 1829 in Pike Co., GA. They moved to Marion Co., GA between 1830 & 1840 where they lived near Fielding Franklin Jackson's brothers Enoch & Asher and sister Damarious Jackson Nutt (wife of Samuel M. Nutt). When Fielding F. Jackson died in 1854 his wife Elizabeth Sims Jackson, brothers Enoch & Asher Jackson, and sister Damarious Jackson Nutt and their families moved to Scott Co., MS. I am double kin to the above Jackson family through Fielding F. Jackson's dau. Nancy Mapp Jackson Kitchings and through Fielding F. Jackson's sis. Damarious Jackson Nutt. The parents of these Jackson children were Isaac & Nancy Mapp Jackson. Isaac Jackson was born in Wrightsboro, GA and died in Jasper Co., GA. I would be interested in your Jackson history. If you see a connection or would like additional information, please contact me direct at my e-mail address. A.T.
