Try these papers for Pike County records: "The Griffin Daily News" on-line @ http://www.griffindailynews.com/ I think in the past it was known as the "THE GRIFFIN WEEKLY NEWS" &/or "THE GRIFFIN WEEKLY NEWS & SUN" Griffin is the county seat for Spalding Co., GA. It is in the part of Spalding Co. that was originally in Pike Co., GA. Parts of Pike Co, Fayette Co, & Henry Co were used to create Spalding Co in 1851 I find that a lot of records pertaining to Coweta Co. & Meriwether Co., GA were published in the old Griffin newspapers, so I am sure you would have the same luck with Pike Co.
