Hi from a new list member, I'm interested in Dudley Cook who lived in Jasper Co. during 1821 land lottery and who drew lot 3-34 in Dooly Co. GA. I'm interested in locating the deed or other disposition of this property. William Brown paid taxes on this property in 1828. William Brown lived in Pike County in 1828. There was a Dudley Cook in Pike Co. about 1840s. I'm not certain if he is the same family who came from Abbeville, SC (1810 census). Any help or clues appreciated.
