    3. My Mother's father was Richard Maury LAVENDER, born in 1877. On the 1880 Census in Pike county there is a James LAVENDER who has a son named Maurly and born in 1877. I am trying to prove this is my Richard Maury. I have a copy of Jame's will and he does not name his children. I have been researching the siblings of this Maurly and have found no researcher working on this family. I know James was a dentist and his wife's maiden name was Brown. James and Eliza were married in AL and on an earlier census showing them living in a Hotel with a James Campbell (also a Dentist). This Campbell shows up as an executor of James' will. The Perryman boys were shown on the 1880 census as nephews. I have copies of all the census and a list of burials in Pike County. I need the follow up to this will of 1883 and what was probated, where did the Mother and Children go? Deeds of land being sold might help. All help will be greatly appreciated.
