Billie Ford bford@mo-net.com I am researching this John Ford Born in NC. died in Bibb Co. Ga. 1860 of old age? Was he the father of Joseph,William W. John S. and Samuel Ford. William W. was named as executor of Joseph's estate, in Warren Co. Ga 7/3/1819. Is there any one out there that may have information to help with the identity of this John ,and the four men mentioned. These people were all in Pike, Monroe, Warren, Upson Co. This is for all of you researching Josiah Allen. I met with come cousins for lunch today and one of them had the following: >From Will Book E, pages 143-144, Ordinary's Office, Greene Co., Georgia In the name of God Amen. I Josiah Allen of the County of Green and State of Georgia do make and ordain this my last will & testament. First I direct all my just debts to be paid after which my will is that all my Estate both real & personal be equally divided between my wife and children, each having one share. But I hereby devise all such property as shall fall to the share of my daughter Nancy Clifton to my executors hereinafter named as trustees to and for the use and benefit of the said Nancy Clifton and I authorise [sic] and direct said Trustees to hold and manage the same for her sole benefit without being answerable to any other person. In the event of her death....her present indisposition this property which shall fall her is to return and be equally divided amongst my wife and the surviving children. Secondly I direct that my children as they grow up be educated according to the means they possess. Thirdly I appoint my beloved wife Elizabeth Allen Executrix and "Our son" Robert Allen Executor of this my last will & testament. William Pyron, son of Charles Pyron who died in Jackson Co., Ga. about 1823, was born on Feb. 10, 1770 in Va. and died in Greene Co., Ga. on Sept. 29, 1853. William's first wife was Martha Allen who was born July 28, 1780 and died on Oct. 8, 1815. Martha was the daughter of Drury Allen and Elizabeth Yarbrough. After the death of Martha Allen Pyron, William married Mrs. Elizabeth Browning Allen, widow of Josiah Allen, his brother-in-law. William and Elizabeth had one child: Emily Pyron. Martha Pyron, the sixth child of William Pyron and Martha Allen, was born abt. 1814 and married her cousin Stephen Allen, son of Stokes Allen and Susan Fouche. Martha and Stephen were married in Greene Co., Ga. on June 14, 1830. William Pyron's brother was James Pyron who was born May 25, 1776 and died on Dec. 11, 1820. James was married to Lucy Johnson, and they lived in Jackson Co., Ga. James and Lucy's daughter Nancy Pyron married her first cousin Charles Allen Pyron, son of William Pyron and Martha Allen. Another daughter Rachel Pyron married Drury Pyron in Jackson Co. in Dec. of 1822. A third daughter of James and Lucy named Martha Pyron married Pleasant J. Allen in Greene Co., Ga. on June 11, 1832. Pleasant was the son of Josiah Allen and Elizabeth Browning. Elizabeth Browning Allen later became the wife of Martha Pyron's uncle William Pyron.
