Honestly as time goes by we will need to have a GAPIKE site family reunion since we will all be related some way or the other........so interesting. My grandmother was Lilla Inez Chappell married to Robert Clark Crawford. Inez's parents: William Thomas Chappell and Laura Brown. W.T.'s parents: James Benjamin Chappell and Sarah Elizabeth Pennington,(my ggggrand) I am going Sarah's fathers line: Henry Allen Pennington...now his Mother was Mary Elizabeth Coggin and her Father was John Coggin,(my 6th-grand)and I think Valerie's husbands 5th-great grandfather. Pat, you have said that Sarah Elizabeth is your grandfather's sister,(I believe this is correct)? My question to Valerie is who is this John Coggin. Is he the John Silas? or another John?? Pat, you and Valerie are the experts on these lines. I would love whatever you will share and others will also. I have received great benefit from all the information offered by Pike County researchers, so anything I can possibly offer is a pleasure. I wish I had more to give. I'm one of those who lives far from the Pike County area, but has many roots there. I only get there every few years, so I have a list of places I need to see and information I need to hunt for. Frankly, I would like to know from time to time who those researchers are who live there in the area and love to "hunt" for gravemarkers, old sites and information. I really don't like "begging" for help, but if there are any over there who really enjoy getting out and taking pictures and finding bits of information, I would be interested. Does anyone keep a list of folks who do this in the Pike/Lamar county area? _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ Daryl Coleman Garland, Texas Homepage: http://www.dkco.com/ Family History Page: http://www.dkco.com/gen/gendex.html ICQ UIN # 63679552 _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ -----Original Message----- From: lcunnin1@bellsouth.net [mailto:lcunnin1@bellsouth.net] Sent: Tuesday, November 19, 2002 7:45 AM To: GAPIKE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: RE: [GAPIKE] Pike County map Daryl, Thank you so much for the map. I coordinate both the Pike County and the Harris County GenWeb sites. I incorrectly announced that the Rehoboth Baptist Church history was posted on the Pike County site. That church is in Harris County and I have moved the page to the Harris County site. Sorry about that. Debra: I just discovered that I posted the Rehoboth Baptist Church on the wrong site. It's in Harris County and not Pike. I do both counties, and I got confused.
