Item 1st I devise and direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner suitable to my circumstances and condition in life Item 2nd I desire and direct that all my just debts be without delay by my Executors hereinafter appointed as I am unwilling that my creditors should be delayed as there is no necessity for delay Item 3rd I give bequeath and devise to my beloved wife Katurah Pringle all my property both real and personal during and for the term of her natural life subject to the payment of seven hundred Dollars each as my children to with Coleman R. Pringle, Augustus C. Pringle, Angelina L. Pringle as they arrive at the age of twenty one or upon the marriage of my daughter. My daughter Mary Covington and my son Barton S. Pringle having already received each the sum of Seven hundred Dollars. Item 4th I will that the proceeds arising from the property in the possession of my said wife Katurah be appropriated to the education and maintenance of my three first named Children and should the proceeds be more than sufficient for the purpose of the Education and Maintenance the said three Children and the maintenance of my wife it is to be consigned as part of my estate thus bequeathed Item 5th I will that at the death of my wife that the property thus bequeathed should be equally divided among my said Children herein before mentioned regarding the amounts which have been or may hereafter be paid out or received as expenses in the Third Item of this my will Item 6th I further will that my son in law Seaborn Convington and my son Barton S. Pringle and my wife Katurah Pringle be my Executors and Executrix to execute this my last will & Testament Coleman S. Pringle Signed sealed declared & published by Coleman S.     3. Larry, I know who the C.B. Carden was. He was Christopher Bailey Carden, son of David Carden, son of John Carden. Everyone, seems to think my Owen, could belong to David or John Carden, but haven't been able to prove it. I believe I know a lady, that descends from the Christopher Bailey Carden. She lives in Lamar Co. now on Liberty Hill Road or Old Liberty Hill Road. She lives at almost the end of the road, right before you get to Milner. I have met her a couple of times, and her husband took us to a Carden cemetery over there somewhere. If you have anymore info on any Carden's in Pike Co., please let me know.     2. Becky, A short time ago I was looking for a Catherine Rebecca Cox who married a James Cox. I have her death certificate. her father was C. B. Carden and her mother was Willie Parker. This Catherine R. Cox was born the exact day my Catherine was born. Both Born in Pike County Ga. Same day same month same year. However unless she was adopted she is not my Catherine. I would love to pass the death certificate to a connected family. If you believe that she maybe connected I will be glad to send you the certificate. Larry Childs

    3. Becky, In 1850 everybody in Pike County is listed as living in District 68 in both the regular census and the slave schedule. I'm not sure why.
