    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: DUKE ARRINGTON JACKSON NORMAN SMITH Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Xd.2ADE/1338.2 Message Board Post: Finally found my page off the 1880 Harris Co Census with my DUKE family. I was mistaken about the PACE family living with the DUKEs there. I did remember the name because there were several PACE households very near and on the same page. There were 2 other black families living with my DUKE family there. That was the MOP family and SMITH family. The husbands were both farm laborers and housekeepers There was a George PACE, 70, b VA, wife Charity 60, b GA Next door was a female(first name illegible) PACE, 80, blind and pauper with granddaughter (first name illegible, kinda looks like Grover Ann PACE) 15. This census was one of the hardest ones for me to read.
