    2. I am trying to location of where the Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church used to be and the Cemetery accross the street from it.. My gr gr grandpapa Rev. Green Berry Waldrop help constituted the Church in 1837. This is the information I found in the Talbot County's Library. Constituted in 1837, the Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church was located originally about three miles from Box Springs on what is not Carl Jones Road, locally called The Hut Road" for a place operated by Miss Lucile Herring during the 1940s. The Hut was a gathering place for young people, and her hot dogs, and hamburgers live in memory. ANOTHER PAGE. The Liberty Hill Baptist Church was the first built abot 3 1/2 miles from Box Springs on what is now known as theHur Road, across from Liberty Hill Cemetery. It was organizeed on April 15, 1851. The members in 1872 including such famailies names as Davie, Youngblood, Williams, Gorman, Davis, Emanuel, Johnson , Weaver,Persons, Helms, Alderman, Hollism Johnson, Harbuck, Harris and Williams. Rev. J. T. Adams was a member in 1903. Other familyu names include Green, Pope, McClung, Browning, Stribling, Funderburk, Edge, Jenkins, Story, Lawhorn, Kemp and many others. At the conferrence in 1900 it was agreed to move the church to Box Springs .Funderburk, Adams and Gorhaam were appointed to plan and build the church.It was completed in November 1904 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, End We drove down to the Old Macon Road and drove past the Fire Department and the road dead in to Hut Road we turn to the right with the east on our right. We found a small Cemetery, but the graves were not old enough to match the dates of the Church. I am looking for the older Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church of the 1837 and it's location.
