The clipping I have has a corner torn off. "William R. ADERHOLD William R. ADERHOLD, [58, a] machinist, died today at [his resi]dence on Wrights road, [Phenix] City, following a brief [illness.] He was a native of Car[roll county,] Ga., the son of the late [John R.] ADERHOLD and Darinda NE[WSOM] ADERHOLD. He was a mem[ber of the] Wilson William lodge of M[asons]. He is survived by his [wife] Mrs. Jettie C. ADERHOLD; [two] sons, James H. ADERHOLD, [__] the U. S. Army at Castle Air Force base, Calif. and William R. ADERHOLD Jr., Phenix City; two daughters, Mrs. J. C. MUNRO, Phenix City and Mrs. Wilbur JUDAH, Columbus; two brothers, Archie ADERHOLD, Juniper, Ga., and A. L. ADERHOLD, Columbus; three sisters, Mrs. G. H. SHOEMAKER, Upatoi, Mrs. C. J. GALLOPS, Tampa, and Mrs. T. G. LESTER, Dadeville, Ala.; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral plans will be announced by Britton & Dobbs." [According to family Bible records and notes, William Robert ADERHOLD was born 16 JAN 1892 at Banning, Carroll Co, GA, and died 09 JUL 1950 in Phenix City, Russell Co, AL. Called Robert, he married 23 OCT 1909 in Phenix City, Lee Co, AL to Jettie Belle COLLINS (1891-1976). He was my mother’s uncle. – John <retrofit@flash.net>]
