    2. Does anyone know if the home of Louie Lummus is still standing in Juniper. Ga.? Are there anyother homes in the Juniper area that is still standing? Has all of Juniper been torn or burnt down? Is there any history or stories to be shared about Juniper, Ga? Was there more to Juniper, Ga. than just Juniper Lake? Thanks for your help. Sandra

    3. Sandra, There is a write-up with photos on the LUMMUS property at Juniper - I may have posted material about it in the past. It's from DAVIDSON's "Rockaway in Talbot." The photos include at least one view of the lake. If you haven't seen this material, I will be glad to send the information to you. Unfortunately, I do not know if any of Juniper is still standing - I have wondered this myself. I believe my SIZEMORES were living in the vicinity when they first moved to the area (or perhaps there was a post office there that served the area?). My gg-gf James Marion SIZEMORE (b. 1836) was supposedly born at Juniper. Another thing that has puzzled me in the past is whether Juniper was in Talbot or Marion Co. (or both?). I seem to recall that it was near the county line.
