The funeral will take place at 3 o’clock this afternoon.>> Could they be (from 1880 census of Nances Dist, Muscogee Co, GA, p. 509C): James BARNES/head/male/65/b. GA/works in cotton mill Mary BARNES/wife/female/33/b. GA/keeping house William BARNES/son/male/14/b. GA/works in cotton mill Bill BARNES/son/male/8/b. GA/at home George BARNES/son/male/3/b. GA/at home Is Sarah Elizabeth their daughter? (If not, who are her parents?) Is Mary a second wife? Were the members of this family employed at Clapp's Factory?
