    3. I just found out yesterday that you can go into your local Health Dept. here in Fl and get copies of death and birth certificates, if the person was born in Fl. and also if you are next of kin, like mother ,father or sibling or grandparents (I guess). All my children are grown and over the years they have misplaced their copies of their birthday certificates. When one son lost everthing in an accident he needed his to be able to ID himself. So for $10. each I got all of them locally. Butttttttttttttt, three of them were correct, one of them had my maiden name spelled wrong.(Ruse for Reese) Apparently when the papers were filled out by the nurse or who ever filled out the papers at birth, they made a mistake. They could not correct the mistake at the local Health Dept. I guess I will have to call the main office in Jacksonville and see it that can be corrected. If not down thru the years when some other family member is researching they will hit a brick wall like a few that I have hit along the way. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pat (in Fl) American by birth- Southern by the Grace of God researching - Reese,Gibson,Kimbrough,Rodgers,Pool, Williams,Rutledge,Slaughter,Holman,Senn,Oelslager,Moulds,Butts.
