One of our ancestors Dr. Pemberton who discovered Coke-a-Cola in Columbus, Georgia Muscogee County and living downtown Home in Columbus and in a County Home in Columbus. He was tied with Auburn, College in Auburn Alabama. He sold his rights to Coke a Cola to bussiness men in Atlanta to make Coke -a Cola what it is today. But Dr. Pemberton was not one of Atlanta's own as "City Confidential" on A&E just said. Tuesday, July 14, City Confidentian on A & E, just claimed Dr. Pemberton as Atlanta's OWN, and this is simply not true and should be corrected. We have the two homes Dr. Pemberton lived in and we also have him and his grave here in Linwood Cemetery. How would we go about to correcting this. Dr. Pemberton is someone's ancestor but he did not belong to Atlanta, he is Columbus , Georgia , Muscogee's own.
