Hello All: My name is Linda James Heath. I am researching my great-grandparents: William/Wilbur David Doster and Prudence Wallace Doster. She was from Heard Co. (parents - Abraham and Nancy Johnson Wallace) and he was from Coweta Co.(parents James and Anna Histeley Doster). They married somewhere in Ga. in 1860 after the census was taken. They were in Columbus, Ga. in 1865 when my great Aunt Mollie E. Doster was born and in 1867 when my grandmother Carrie Jane Doster was born. The family attended St. Luke Methodist Church. I have not been able to prove they were there. Does Columbus have City Directories for 1865 and 1867? Any suggestions as to where else I can look? This is my MAJOR brick wall.
