M. ADERHOLD – Archie Mims ADERHOLD, 65, died at 3:10 a.m. today [Monday, 12 JAN 1959] at his home, 2012 12th Ave., following an illness of several years. He operated Aderhold Garage and Service Station here for more than 30 years. He was born in Carroll County, Ga., Jan. 5, 1894, son of the late John R. & Dorinda (NEWSOME) ADERHOLD. He had lived here for 40 years. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife [Ethel Elizabeth (SIZEMORE) ADERHOLD]; three daughters, Mrs. T[homas] J[oseph] (Dorothy ADERHOLD) REDMOND, Columbus; Mrs. E[rnest] C[osby] (Nadine ADERHOLD) LAND, Knoxville, and Mrs. L[ouie] F[loyd] (Martha Jeane ADERHOLD) GIGLIO, Jr., Atlanta; three sons, Lester M. ADERHOLD, Americus, Alton M. ADERHOLD, Juniper, and Clyde W. ADERHOLD, Columbus; a brother, A[ndrew] L[ee] ADERHOLD, Columbus; three sisters, Mrs. C[aleb] J[esse] (Clara ADERHOLD) GALLOPS, Tampa, Mrs. T[homas] G[rimsley] (Emma ADERHOLD) LESTER, Dadeville, Ala., and Mrs. G[eorge] H[enr! y] (Permelia ADERHOLD) SHOEMAKER, Midland; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow [Tuesday, 13 JAN 1959] at Striffler-Hamby Chapel with Elder John MANGHUM, Elder Casey PHILLIPS, and the Rev. Joe JIMMERSON conducting the service. Burial will be in Mt. Paran Church Cemetery at Box Springs [Talbot Co, GA]. Pallbearers will be Eugene PATE, James SIZEMORE, George SHOEMAKER, Thurmond PATE, Robert ADERHOLD, H. B. Perron Baptist Church near Box Springs, Ga. Elder John MANGHAM and Rev. Bentley ADAMS will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Perron Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy A. [T. Joseph] REDMOND, Columbus, Mrs. Nadine [Ernest C.] LAND, Montgomery, Ala., and Mrs. Martha Jean[e] [Louie F.] GIGLIO, Smyrna; three sons, Lester M. ADERHOLD, Washington Court, Ohio, Alton M.
