In the History of Harris County Book, I found , "Rehoboth Baptist Church Record, Cataula, Ga. in the possession of Mrs. J. W. Thompson. (She died 11-30-1956) My gr gr grandpapa was a Minister (Rev. Green Berry Waldrop) during the 1830s.Rehoboth Baptist Church was first located about one and a quarter miles below Cataula, Georgia The first original Rehoboth was burnt down. The Church was moved down to where the Church, "The Rock" is now. The Church was first across the street from the the fenced in Cemetery on the highway as you drive in to Cataula from Muscogee County. I would love to chek out the members of my Waldrop family that were members of the Rehoboth Baptist Church and lived in the Harris County area during the 1830s.. Thanks for any help.
