OWENS, daughter of William & Philba (MOON) OWENS. Sarah (43, a seamstress) appears on p. 682 of the 1880 census of Columbus, Muscogee Co, GA, with their two daughters, Lucinda (15, a cotton mill operative - later m. John Anderson COLE) and Elizabeth S. (4 - later m. Arthur O'NEIL). Zion d. 1895 in Phenix City, Lee Co, AL, and Sarah d. 29 OCT 1900 in Phenix City, Lee Co, AL (or perhaps in Russell Co, AL). Zion's parentage is not clear - I have more data on these PIKES, if anyone is interested. I would like to learn why he was in jail in 1880.
