L. REDD performing the ceremony. The nuptials were celebrated by an elegant supper and an evening of pleasure to all present. Mr. RANDALL, the superintendent, complimented them with a collation of delicious viands." - from the Columbus, GA, Daily Enquirer-Sun, Friday, 17 JUN 1881, p. 3. John OLIVE m. 16 JUN 1881 in Muscogee Co, GA, to Gene SEXTON (per LDS site). The Isam [=Isham] OLIVE family appears on p. 509D of the 1880 census of Nances Dist, Muscogee Co, GA, but John does not seem to be present in this household. I am unable to locate a SEXTON household in this area. Isham OLIVE m. 04 MAY 1851 in Marion Co, GA, to Elizabeth E. HAGGOOD (per LDS site). On p. 510A of the same census is the Albert RANDALL family. He is also listed on p. 195 of the 1878 City Directory of Columbus as superintendant of the Columbus Manufacturing Company, residing in the Factory Village.
