Just for the record. . . this Kemis is a female. There are 2 other Kemis' in Columbus and both of them are male (father and son originally from FL) Kemis is a family name but not mine. When my parents bought their first house, they rented a room to a military couple by the name of Bob and Kemis YOUNG. He was stationed at Ft. Benning for OCS training. Mom ask her if she every had a daughter. . . I bet you know the rest. Mrs. YOUNG didn't know where her name came from as her parents died when she was 3. A couple of years back, I located her name in a KEMIS family tree. BTW, I now have a third cousin by the name of Kemis.
