I am searching any info or family connections to the surnames MELLOWN {MALONE} with the orignal spelling of Mellown.... My gggg-grandfather MARTIN MELLOWN was born in South Carolina, but his father name unknown was born in Ireland. Martin was married twice ....first to Rebecca Ramsey who I believe was Morgan Mellown's mother and then he married to a Elizabeth Mcgehee in Jones Co. Georgia.... Morgan married uknown wife (possibly a Mary?? Smith??), his son ALEXANDER SMITH MELLOWN and Morgan settled in Pickens Co. Alabama.... Alexander then married Jane Dowdle in Tuscaloosa Co. Alabama....
